Andrews Raid monument

Located within Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta are grave sites for three of the primary Confederate participants of the Civil War's "Great Locomotive Chase". William Fuller - Conductor of the train pulled by the locomotive "General"; Jeff Cain - Engineer of the "General"; Anthony Murphy - Foreman of the Western and Atlantic Railroad. In addition, there is a monument near the location that 7 of the Union raiders were hung soon after the raid.
